A good chai, a nice chat - I love the everyday rituals of Kolkata, India

Enjoying chai with my cousin at the tea stall of the family Das in Kolkata has become a tradition. Since Mr Das passed away, mother and son run the small chai business. Their chai has the right amount of fresh ginger, cardamom, sugar, milk and black tea. I love the ambiance of Kolkata, its everyday rituals.
