I know Dodo since 1997 when I filmed the then forbidden gay world of Bombay. In my old film “Indian Queens” he made a short appearance at his friend Cory Wallia’s fabulous birthday party (see my blog “Gay Bombay revisited - part three: http://lekhasarkar.com/blog/2024/9/7/gay-bombay-revisited-part-three).

I also met Dodo at the historic Mumbai Pride in February 2019. It was the first Pride after homosexuality was decriminalised in India. It is captured in my video “Remembering: Queer Azaadi Mumbai Pride 2019”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8K8qdQThIWM
